COVID-19 SAFETY
The Kingston Butter Factory in conjunction with Jabba Entertainment and Golden Rule Presents will ensure all our guests are kept COVID safe with regular cleaning and sanitising of the venue, providing multiple handwash stations, ensuring hand sanitiser is available at all of our food vendors and bar and by following all current COVID regulations. We will also require our guests to check in using the QR Code for the Kingston Butter Factory upon entry.
You can do your part to keep us all safe by following the conditions of entry below:
- Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell, have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath
- If during the event, you become unwell, please seek assistance from our event staff immediately
- We will be adhering to the current State Government COVID-19 requirements surrounding entry to vaccinated patrons to outdoor events
- Events and COVID requirements are subject to change in response to the latest Queensland Health requirements

Merchandise marquees & Food trucks will take payment by card or cash. (there will be 2 x ATM machines available)

EVENT SAFETY
We will have First Aid officers in attendance throughout the event, please let our staff know if you feel unwell or require assistance.
We will also have licenced security onsite if you have any security concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Is Melting Sunsets an 18+ event?
Yes, Melting Sunsets is an 18+ only event. The whole event area is fully licenced.
Will there be cloakroom facilities onsite?
Cloakroom Facilities will not be available. Prohibited items will not be permitted within the event, so if in doubt, please leave items at home.
Will there be Mobility Assistance available?
Our outdoor concert area is predominantly flat grass parkland, however there is a slight incline in parts. For patrons in a wheelchair, there will be an accessible viewing area directly off hardstand from the disabled parking area to the stage. There will also be an accessible port-a-loo and amenities in this area.
Please contact us at info@meltingsunsets.com if you are in a wheelchair or need assistance, so we can contact you prior to the event and make sure you are well looked after on the day.
Can I get a Pass Out?
There will be no pass outs for this event after 6pm unless in an emergency or medical situation. Please ensure you bring everything you need for the whole day/night.
Do I need to bring my Photo ID?
Identification will be required for entry and to purchase and consume alcohol. Service will not be provided to anyone under 18 years of age. Alcohol cannot be taken off site even if unopened under our liquor licence requirements.
Will the concert go ahead in wet weather?
The concert will proceed in wet weather and only be cancelled in severe weather conditions where our guests and performers safety will be jeopardised.
What are the transport and parking options?
Please note, there will be no public parking onsite. Disabled parking will be available for eligible attending guests.
Free train travel on northbound and southbound return trips is available upon presentation of your Melting Sunsets ticket to Queensland Rail staff.
Will there be food and beverages available onsite to purchase?
Yes, we will have a range of food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options onsite. No outside alcohol is to be bought into the venue under our liquor licence. Photo identification will be required to purchase alcoholic beverages. We will have a free water station to refill water bottles onsite.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
At the time of booking your tickets, you consent to the below Conditions of Entry and Oztix’s Terms & Conditions of purchase.
Security will be performing bag checks upon entry and confiscating any items that are prohibited. Management and Security accept no responsibility for confiscated items.
You will be provided with a wrist band upon entry. Wrist bands that have been removed or tampered with and rendered invalid and will not be replaced. Lost or missing wrist bands will also not be replaced.
By entering the venue, you consent to being filmed and photographed during the event. Footage or images may be reproduced, published and utilised by the promoter without restriction but not limited to marketing and promotional use and in all media.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule the Event. If the Event is cancelled or re-scheduled, the Promoter will use best endeavours to notify ticket holders via its website and SMS so it is advisable to notify Oztix of your details including mobile number.
In the case of re-scheduled Events, ticket holder’s unable to attend the re-scheduled Event must apply for a refund within five working days of the re-scheduled Event. Ticket holders of free or complimentary tickets will not be entitled to a refund for a cancelled or re-scheduled Event.
In the case of a snap COVID lockdown, tickets can be refunded or transferred to the re-scheduled event date.
The Event will only be abandoned if the Promoter deems the weather conditions dangerous. Refunds (whole or in part) will only be available at the point of purchase, if an Event is abandoned or cancelled. The decision to cancel an Event will be made as early as possible but may not be made until the morning of the event.
You may be refused entry if your ticket was purchased from an unauthorised ticket seller or ticket scalper. Defaced tickets will not be accepted. Even if you have proof of purchase, lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced or reissued. Your ticket is your responsibility.
Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour that is likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or for failure to comply with reasonable requests.
Intoxication, aggressive or anti-social behaviour is unacceptable and will result in ejection from the Venue. Those ejected from the Venue will not be re-admitted to the Event and tickets will not be refunded.
Trespassers and anyone assisting trespassers will be evicted from the Venue.
All patrons must adhere to local liquor licensing laws. Intoxicated or disorderly patrons will be evicted from the venue.
In the Event of an emergency situation or evacuation, you must follow all official directions by Event staff & security.
